There's nothing like the sight of bright, colourful tulips to herald the arrival of spring.
I made these pretty tulip cookies to celebrate the high school graduation of a family friend. It was my first attempt at the wet-on-wet technique, and I think it turned out quite well.
The graduate we were celebrating was the top student in his class, and I wanted to make note of that. I realized that I could use the tulip cookie cutter to create a cute little owl, which is a symbol of wisdom.
I loved making this set of cookies. They were super quick and easy to decorate, and our little graduate was very happy with them. What more could a girl want?
