One of the best things about being a creative person is that you tend to meet lots of other creative people, and more often than not those creative people blow your minds with their talent. And then sometimes you get jealous and spiral into a deep pit of doubt and self-loathing...but that's not the point.
Over the holidays I had the pleasure of working with the incredibly talented lifestyle photographer Janet Kwan. She came over one afternoon to hang out and take the most stunning photos of my baking process (and of course, to eat a few cookies). These images are so far removed from the grainy photos I used to take on my Blackberry (RIP) that it's almost offensive to have them on the same website.
I have secretly always wished that Janet could follow me around and make me look gorgeous on the regular, so I'm humbled and thrilled that she shone her talents my way and helped this little business of mine look that much more professional and awesome.
I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do! LOOK HOW PRETTY.
There I am! Don't I look industrious?
Yes, of course my dining room is always superbly tidy while artfully and casually arranged. Thank you, Janet, for cropping out the piles of fishing gear on either side of that buffet.
